Security was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful despite varying English proficiency. The grounds were well maintained, providing a pleasant atmosphere, and the salads served at the restaurant were quite good. However, the location was somewhat isolated, requiring transportation to reach the central attractions. The room was a bit spartan compared to expectations, and noise from a wedding reception disrupted the otherwise quiet experience.

Quiet stay with friendly vibes
We stayed for 6 nights and the staff was super friendly, always ready to help. The area was pretty chill, which made for a nice break from the city buzz. We loved grabbing tacos nearby for lunch. Just a heads up, the room was kinda basic and felt overpriced considering its location. The breakfast at the bar/lounge was decent, though!

The Double Room was quite spacious and clean, which was great. Definitely quiet and felt secure. The WiFi was a bit spotty, though, which was annoying. Overall, it was a comfy stay, just lacking on the internet side.

It was just a great match for a lightning trip in Oaxaca with good price value. The food was surprisingly good and the service personnel were terrific. Just be prepared for the lack of amenities.

View of the surrounding landscape was beautiful.
My stay was disappointing overall. The villa I booked was in desperate need of refurbishment, and it didn’t even come with basic kitchenware, leaving me feeling unprepared for my stay. The gas stove was non-functional, which made cooking impossible, and the presence of geese on the property hindered my ability to walk my dog comfortably. Additionally, the pool was far too small and located right next to the front desk, feeling more like a roadside motel than a proper hotel.

I really enjoyed the spacious double room and the delicious breakfast buffet, but the pool was smaller than it appeared in the photos. I’d definitely consider staying again!

Good food but no amenities
My stay was marred by poor amenities. The bathroom was lacking, with towels in disrepair. While the restaurant staff were exceptional and the food quite good, the overall service fell flat. I felt undervalued as a guest. The lack of basic facilities made the experience frustrating.

Spacious bungalows offer a rustic charm, providing a sense of tranquility away from the bustling atmosphere. The unique local vibe around the hotel, with lively taco stands on weekends, adds an interesting touch for adventurous eaters.
No shuttle service was observed during my stay, despite claims of it being available. The mattresses were worn out, impacting comfort significantly. The kitchenette lacked basic utensils like plates or silverware, and the gas stove was non-functional. Plus, the shower doors didn't do their job well, leading to water on the floor. While the pool is accessible, it feels cramped right next to the front desk, and the Wi-Fi barely held up, which can be a hassle for needing reliable connection.

The property feels secure, and the grounds are well maintained. The Wi-Fi barely works, making it hard to stay connected. A local tour about the culture was surprisingly insightful. Rooms are clean but may lack comfort. I would have liked a better breakfast selection.
